University Stationary Haul!

Hey Wonderful Followers,

So today I have a fun blog for you, stationary! Wooo! I joke but I really love stationary for some reason i just makes me happy and going to university is a great excuse to buy loads! So I thought I would show you a few of the things I brought!

All of these things I brought from W.H.Smith a few days ago so should all still be available in store.

Notebooks

These note books are great I would highly recommend them! They may be on the expensive side of note book however have lovely thick paper which nice to write on and with pull out pages easy to place in folders.

Ohhh and come in pretty colours of pink, purple, blue, navy, and red so also look great!

Diary and Address Book

As I need to keep my self organised while I'm at university I need both of these a diary to keep my deadlines organised. And loved the dotty apple pattern perfect for a dietetics student!
I also love this cute address book with the bird cage print and the soft cover! I know it sounds lame to have a book full of addresses but I will need to send birthday cards etc so will need addresses!

Fine Liners and Highlighters

These are really really boring items however they are needed for uni! I love these fine liners as they allow me to keep my work neat but also colourful! I really don't understand how people do all there work in black and white it looks so boring! The highlighters are also to make my work and notes colourful and organised!

Ruler, Sharpener, Rubber, USB & Stapler

These are pretty much self explanatory so yes I thought I would just show you them any way!

Pins and White Tac!

These are not exactly stationary but I think they can kind of fit in. The white blu tack is because your not allowed to stick posters or picture to the wall as blu tac mark the walls however white tac doesn't! The bright stuff pins are hopefully going to brighten up my room with the neon colours as also let me stick my important photos and timetables up on the cork board!

I hope you have enjoyed nosying through my little stationary haul! Also remember if you would like to hear more from me and see my next blog to come and follow my Bloglovin Page and like my blog's Facebook Page!

Life Update and Bathroom Haul!

Hello my Wonderful Followers,

Life Update

So as you all know this year I completed my Alevels! I haven't told you yet but I picked my results up last Thursday and they were great and I also got into my first choice university! So in under 4 weeks time I will be off to Leeds Met (which in September is changing its name to Leeds Beckett) University! Which I am terrified off! However there has been two things which has made moving away from home and into my Uni seems a little less horrific:

1) The thought of Freshers! Leeds Beckett has an amazing Freshers program full of Radio 1 DJs, party's, live music and if course the Freshers fair! Although I have to be in Uni working every day except Thursday (for Freshers Fair) I hope to enjoy Freshers as much as I can!

2) This may not be a massive surprise to you but the shopping for everything I need to leave home and move into Uni has defiantly made moving away seem a little better! So over the next couple of weeks in plan to show you some of the stuff I've brought (maybe not all of it as some things such as plain bed sheets are a little boring) so this week I would do the smallest section which I have got which is the Bathroom Haul!

The Bathroom Haul!

So you may know I love everything to all be colour critiqued and matching so what better colours to chose for he bathroom that everything to be blue and silver!

Towels
I got my towels from Dunelm in the colour "teal". They are Egyptian cotton and I got: 2 bath sheets, 2 hand towels and 2 flannels (face cloths) They are not only soft but bright so will add a pop of colour to my plain Uni bathroom!

Bath Mat
I got a bath mat in the same colour as my towels, but I brought a smaller square one as I know my bathroom at Uni will be small so this will hopefully fit!

Bin & Toilet Brush
I got this plain foot pedal bin and toilet brush from Wilko nothing to exciting but just something I will need to keep my bathroom clean and tidy!

Pebble Splats
These are basically mini bath mats however come in little circles meaning they can pretty much fit any shaped shower which is good as I'm not sure how big my shower will be!
Click here to see the pebble splats online! (sorry could only find the blue ones)

2 Tier Shower Rack
This is one again silver to match my bin and brush, it just a small rack that sticks tone wall with suction pads so is acceptable in uni halls and can just hold all my essential shower toiletries.
Click here to see shower rack online! (I'm sorry this is the closest I could find on the Dunelm website)

Toothbrush cup
I wanted something to hold my toothbrush and toothpaste as I don't want to leave it on the top and when I saw this blue and silver cup at Wilko I couldn't resist!

Fun sign
As I am moving over two hours away from home it want to make my new uni room feel more homely and the least like a hotel as possible I am trying to add fun things into my decor! So this sign is what I have to add the the bathroom to make it more fun and I think it's a good reminder for all students!

I hope you have enjoyed this little life update and my bathroom haul! And remember if you would like to hear more from me and see my next blog to come and follow my Bloglovin Page and like my blog's Facebook Page!

My Garden Party Outfit!

Hello Wonderful Followers,

I'm back with a different kind of blog this week! I'm not exactly a fashion expert but I'm going to try and outfit blog!

So earlier  this week I went to my friend's 18th Birthday garden party and I thought I would share with you what I wore!

The Dress

I brought a new dress to wear from new look which luckily for you is now in the sale! It is as you can see a pinky orange skater style dress with a crochet waist band.

I love the neck line on this dress as it is low cut however it does not show off too much of my cleavage.
My favorite par of the dress is the pretty crochet waist band which is very pretty and shows off some skin, with out having massive cut out holes in the dress!
Finally I would say if you want to get this dress as it is now on sale the sizes may not all be available however I would usually get and 8 however i could only find a 10 and it actually fits pretty well! So don't be afraid to just try it.
You can find this dress here: http://bit.ly/1kLQxdf

Shoes

So to go with this light floral summer dress I thought black shoes would be a bit harsh so to match the crochet waist belt I went for white! These are my a pair of my favorite heels! They are white strappy cork wedges from next! As I have had them for many years they are no longer sold so I have tried to find the most alike shoes I could find: http://bit.ly/1oSQozM

Hair and Accessories

For my accessories I just kept very simple and all silver, I wore a watch, nomination bracelet, a small silver bracelet and a small silver necklace I got for my 18th.

For my hair I wore it pretty simple too! I just blow dried it and straightened it, as I knew if I curled it it would of all of fallen out.

My make was also kept very simple as it was warm and having heavy make up may of sweated off my face. Ewww gross I know! So I just put a light champagne colour on my eyes and went for a bight pink blushed cheek!

Ps. sorry about the picture it was very bright and windy!

I hope you enjoyed this more fashion style blog and if you would like to see more outfit suggestions for different events. Give me any suggestions in comments below!

My Lovely Summer Holiday!

Hi Wonderful Followers,

I know my blog posts have been a lot of look what I've been getting up to lately a lot, as this one is too. However I would just like to say this is not due to me wanting to brag at all its just what I've been doing and thought you guys may find it interesting, well I hope you are!

So to start my blog properly now, I have been on a little summer holiday over the last week and I thought I would share a little bit of information about what I was doing, where I've been and show you some of my favorite pictures I took during the week.

I went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise (Liberty of the Seas) for a week around the Med! Which was amazing so I thought I  would show you what we did every day and then show you the food I ate (my favorite part)!

Day 1: Barcelona Port

On our first day we flew from Birmingham airport to Barcelona early in the morning so we landed in Barcelona in the morning giving us enough time to explore the ship! We even found some Madagascar stars!

The High Street on the Ship!

Oh and there was a wonderful "Soca Parade" at night down the Royal Promenade! It was really fun and got all the staff involved. However all my photos were blurry but there is one which isn't too terrible so here it is!

Day 2: Marseilles

This was a beautiful port as you can see from the photos! On this day we went on a little train up to the Basilica (a massive church) at the top of the hill! We then went for a pancake and a little bit of shopping!

At night we then went to see an Ariel dancing show called up in the air in the ship's theater which was amazing then found a lovely towel bunny left in our room!

Day 3: Villefranche (Nice)

This may be one of my favorite days of my holiday! As we caught a tender (a small boat) off the ship and then a bus from the little port town to the larger town for a day of shopping!

At night we then went to see the Royal Caribbean Ice Show Spectacular which was amazing!

Day 4: Pisa

This day is pretty much self exploratory from the title we went to see the tower of Pisa! Which was fantastic apart from the massive rain shower we got caught in! Our trip also took us to the quarry where Michelangelo got his marble!

That night we went to a 70's Dancing in the Streets Party on the Royal Promenade on the ship, which involved me singing on the microphone in front of everyone and a camera which was terrifying but fun at the same time!

Day 5: Rome

We caught the train from the port in to the center of Rome and saw all the the major sites! Unfortunately the Trevi Fountain was under restoration of was covered in scaffolding!

St.Peters Cathderal - Vatican
Pantheon
The Spanish Steps
The Colosseum
That night we also went to see a fantastic musical in the ships theater, Saturday Night Fever which was partly put together by Arlene Phillips!

Day 6: Naples (Pompeii)

This was my favorite day by far! Where we saw the ancient city of Pompeii and all the secrets it held! Loved it thanks to our great tour guide!

Day 7: Day on Ship

The day on ship was very relaxing, we did things from napkin folding, to ice skating to just plain sunbathing!

At night there was a Dream Works Parade where a lot of cartoon characters made an appearance, we then went to watch an amazing Magic Show after dinner!

The Food

We ate a 3 course meal every night in one of the main dinning rooms on the ship (Michelangelo). We had two waiters; Radu and Hanson who were great and gave us amazing service even down to knowing which bread and drinks we liked best! As we ate so much food I thought pictures gave them better justification than my ramble about how yummy they were!

I know this blog was long, and I apologize it was late but to me it was kind of my personal scrap book of our wonderful holiday and I hope you enjoyed being nosy too!
