My Halloween 2014!!

Hello My Wonderful Followers!

So this week seen as though it was Halloween this Friday I thought I would share with you what I got up to on this spooky night!

My Make-Up

I decided to go as a day of the dead Mexican skull! So this is what I did! The whole look was done by myself with Snazaroo face paints! I also used my regular kohl eyeliner and mascara around my eyes!

This took me quite a while to do! But here a step by step how to complete this look:

1) Use sponge to cover face in white face paint
2) Then use black on brush to do nose, lips and mouth scars
3) Use the red pace paint on brush to do flower on chin and petals around black eyes
4) Use very thin black brush to out line flower and petals, also use this to do dots on the petals
5) Finally use you own eye liner to tight and water line your eyes and then your mascara for your lashes

My Outifit

For my outfit I kept it simple with all black! I wore a simple new look black vest top with a black skater skirt also from new look. With a pair of tights I cut up, and a pair of black flats!

My Night

I had an amazing night however it did just end up with me and my boyfriend Sam spent the night in Przym night club together dancing the night away just us two. Which was surprisingly fun! I had an amazing weekend with Sam visiting me in Leeds! I hope you all had an amazing Halloween too!

My Autumn Favourites

Hello My Wonderful Followers,

Over this last fortnight I have notice something really change, and that's the season! I'm pretty sure you can not officially say that Autumn has arrived fully! With my big fluffy coats coming out and the crispy leaves lying on the pavement!

So I thought I would share some of my Autumnal favorites with you!

1) Boots

I have started with possibly my favorite favorite! My flat black boots! These are from next and you can find them here! They are the most conformable boots and also keep my feet very dry in the rain! They also are not very slippy so I don't ever slip on the wet leaves!

2) Jumpers

This one is self explanatory nothing too special, just the feeling of putting on a warm jumper and it is amazing. I love lots and lots of fluffy jumpers just make me feel so autumnal!

3) Snoods

Snoods otherwise known as infinity scarves are a god send when the weather gets cold in the autumn!  They don't involve any hand knotting or wrapping, it is much easier just to put a snood round your neck and they are so very very warm and cuddly! The grey one is from New Look last year and my newest white one was £5 from Primark and has sparkly sequins too!!

4) Umbrella

This is nothing special either, just a standard black umbrella! however since moving to univeristy I have been no where with out it! I hate getting soaking so in autumn where rain if often present so the umbrella is a must!

5) Cath Kidson Rucksack

I love this bag! It is amazing it is big enough to hold my laptop and leaver arch folders. It is fully waterproof and easy to carry with 2 straps. It also is very useful to carry my shopping home from Aldi!

6) Tea & Biscuits

Well as we know tea can solve everything it is what we do when were sad, when I'm happy, sad, cold... It will fix everything and as it gets colder a warm cuppa tea is such a relief! And biscuits will also make every cuppa a little bit better!

7) My Fluffy Throw

As fluffy as everything! Its soft warm and when I'm cold or feeling down wrapping my self up in my fluffy throw makes the world a better place.

8) Letters to Autumn

This is a wonderful new set of videos from a favorite YouTubers of mine, Carrie Fletcher. And on her channel, it's way past my bedtime she has started a new video every day and they are just a poetic letter she writes to Autumn. Explaining what the seasons mean to her and just little things each day, I find them so thought provoking but also relaxing just as I'm going to bed! Find them here: http://bit.ly/1tXbCWj

apologies for blogs not being up regularly however I am still trying to get into a routine here at university! I would really like to get back to regular Sunday blogs but please be paitent, I'm trying my best! Freshers Tag!

Hello My Wonderful Followers,

I am doing a tag post today but it's a special one because I made it up myself! As you know I've now been at uni for a fortnight so I thought I would answer some question and try and make going to uni easier for anyone who is going in the future!

1) Which Uni do you go to and what are you studying?

I'm at Leeds Beckett University, studying Dietetics. Dietetics is the degree which dietitans have to study.

2) What type of accommodation do you live in?

I am in university accommodation in a flat of 5 people, 3 girls and 2 boys. We all have out own indivual bedrooms and en-suites but share a kitchen and living area. The best thing about the accommodation is they have provided us with a flat screen TV and have payed for our license!

3) What's your bedroom like?

My bedroom is lovely!  I have made it very homely and I love it! I can't really describe it so here are some pictures!

The Bathroom!
Pin Board & Shelves
The Desk

4) Were you nervous to go to uni?

I don't think nervous even describes it I was petrified! I didn't eat for the whole day and I was very very shaky but I know now there was nothing to be afraid of!

5) Harsdest thing to get used when not living at home?

I think the hardest thing is not always having some one there to talk to, I know I have my fact mates but it's not the same as having family around! However phone calls, texts and other social media makes it easy enough to talk to loved ones.

6) What's your new city like?

Leeds is massive! compared to the town I come from and the neighbouring city Leeds is huge! There is many shopping centres and lots of clubs for nights out! However I am getting used to it, still feel I may get lost in the town centre a lot more yet!

7) Favorite Freshers event?

My 2 Favorite event have been the ones held in the Student Union! This included the beach party I mention last week and the UV party! Pictures included below!

Love Photo Booths!

8) Favorite thing to do while at Uni?

My fave thing to do so far is cocktail Friday with my course mates, who are all older than me some by nearly 6 years but I found the a great way to rewind after a week of being bombarded by information.

Sex on the Beach & Mango Tango

9) Do you feel different now your living with out your parents?

Yes, moving out has highlighted how independent I actually am. I know at home it did depend on my parents to cook, make sure I get out of bed for school and does my washing etc. I found that I have settled in quite well to do it my self now. I also realised how useful knowing how to read a map is as I haven't got lost once yet, thank you to Google maps!

10) Any advice for any Freshers to be?

Be confident, friendly and smile! Make lists be organised and don't forget have an amazing time!

I hope you have enjoy my first every homemade tag! Also remember if you would like to hear more from me and see my next blog to come and follow my Bloglovin Page and like my blog's Facebook Page!

Jewellery Storage Idea!

As you know I am moving to Uni in less than a week! Arghhh! That's scary! However when I move into my hauls I know I am going to have considerable less shelving and storage areas in my room than I'm used to at home so was constable looking for new storage ideas.

While I was shopping in Next I found something called the little black dress, while was an price of black material with when place on a coat hanger looked like a dress which you could easily hang in your wardrobe. This was about £20 in Next so as I am always one for a bargain I headed to Google to look for one which would be very similar do the same job and be much cheaper!

Of course the wonderful internet did a great job and found be one which really didn't look different to the pricey one in next, for £2!
Which you can find here: http://bit.ly/1wspEiH

I have now filled it with my jewellery so I thought instead of just try got explain it I would show you some photos of how I've used it.

As you can see on the left there is a section I used to hang my less chunky necklaces, which means they are much less likely to get tangled up in each other due to the space left between them! On the other side there is small plastic pockets which I've stored my chunkier necklaces, earrings and some bracelets!

I find this useful as I can now see all my jewellery options so I find I am wearing a larger range of jwellery I never used to wear!

Although this product is advertised as a jewellery storage item I'm pretty sure it can be used for many other uses as you can see below I've tried it out with nail varnishes. If you get one I would love to see if you've had any other great ideals on how to use this little black dress!

I hope this has given any of you moving to uni or just wanted now storage ideas a great product to help you out! The next time you hear from me I will have slept my first night in Leeds! I'm so nervous and excited I just hope I get a new blog ready for next Sunday, if I don't please have some patience as you all know moving away from home is a pretty big thing to!

While I'm at Uni I plan to carry on with this blog with new posts every Sunday and if you have any blogs you would like me to do about uni or my course (Dietetics) just be sure to ask in the comments!

My Everyday Make-up Routine!

Welcome back you wonderful readers!
Just a little quick note I'm sorry this has only gone up now! I honestly thought I'd published it on Sunday so big apologises hope you enjoy....

So I thought I wanted to show you some of my new make up by not do a haul so here is my everyday make up routine!

Complexion!

So basically I put these all on but in this order buffing in my base and co clear then using fluffy brushes for the powdered products!

Foundation/BB cream:
I thought I would show you my 2 favourites so I will either use my Rimmel BB Cream in light on hot days which is what I use today. Or I will use the Rimmel Lasting finish 25hr Nude in 100-Ivory when I want a more full foundation!

Concealer:
Lasting perfection concealer in 1 - Fair which I use under my eyes and on any blemishes I have.

Powder: I use a fluffy brush to place Rimmel stay matt powder in 005-Silky Beige over my whole face

Blusher: My favourite every day blush is Bourjois's in 48-Cendre de Rose Brune.

Bronzer: Rimmel Natural Bronzer in 022-Sun Bronze in the usual 3 shape around my face.

Complexion complete!

Eyes & Eyebrows!

My eyes I do very simply for every day, well simply for me anyway so doesn't take me a lot of time.

Eyeshadows:
This is one of my most recent of purchases but I will often use my Maybeline Colour Tattoo 24hr in 35-Bronze on Bronze. I love this as it is creamy so has no powder fall down and is a nice warm bronzy colour for everyday wear that I can just apply with my finger.

Eyeliners:
Soap & Glory's Supercat Liquid Eyeliner in black, I use this for a line line across the edge of of eye line and then usually have a small cat flick on the end of my eye.
I will then tight line and water line my eyes in my Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Eyeliner in black too.

Mascara:
Recently I have been loving my Maybelline The Falsies the falsies mascara. Which I apply in the usually way!

Eyebrow penicl:
Rimmel's Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 004-Black Brown. With this i just fill in my eyes browns to make sure they all look full and there is no obvious gaps.

And waaallaa! My make up is done for the day! Hope you enjoyed this blog and it has inspired you to do your every day make up slightly different or just filled you people who like to be nosy on how I do mine!

University Stationary Haul!

Hey Wonderful Followers,

So today I have a fun blog for you, stationary! Wooo! I joke but I really love stationary for some reason i just makes me happy and going to university is a great excuse to buy loads! So I thought I would show you a few of the things I brought!

All of these things I brought from W.H.Smith a few days ago so should all still be available in store.

Notebooks

These note books are great I would highly recommend them! They may be on the expensive side of note book however have lovely thick paper which nice to write on and with pull out pages easy to place in folders.

Ohhh and come in pretty colours of pink, purple, blue, navy, and red so also look great!

Diary and Address Book

As I need to keep my self organised while I'm at university I need both of these a diary to keep my deadlines organised. And loved the dotty apple pattern perfect for a dietetics student!
I also love this cute address book with the bird cage print and the soft cover! I know it sounds lame to have a book full of addresses but I will need to send birthday cards etc so will need addresses!

Fine Liners and Highlighters

These are really really boring items however they are needed for uni! I love these fine liners as they allow me to keep my work neat but also colourful! I really don't understand how people do all there work in black and white it looks so boring! The highlighters are also to make my work and notes colourful and organised!

Ruler, Sharpener, Rubber, USB & Stapler

These are pretty much self explanatory so yes I thought I would just show you them any way!

Pins and White Tac!

These are not exactly stationary but I think they can kind of fit in. The white blu tack is because your not allowed to stick posters or picture to the wall as blu tac mark the walls however white tac doesn't! The bright stuff pins are hopefully going to brighten up my room with the neon colours as also let me stick my important photos and timetables up on the cork board!

I hope you have enjoyed nosying through my little stationary haul! Also remember if you would like to hear more from me and see my next blog to come and follow my Bloglovin Page and like my blog's Facebook Page!
